Information:	Robert was born Robert Erskin Atwell on 26 October 1882 on 35 Strand Road, Sandymount. He was KIA at Neuve-Église, Belgium on 2 Sep 1918 (not 2 Aug 18)
Parents Names:	Son of Sarah Margretta (née Sterling), of 10 Braid Hills Rd. Edinburgh, and Richard Atwell, late of Blackrock, Co. Dublin.
Notes:	His father, Richard Atwell was born c.1852 in Carrickclasy (Carrigglass?), Longford. It is not certain if Robert ever spent any appreciable time in Longford. Many thanks to Peter Power-Hayes for the information on Robert.
