Information:	Andrew was born c.1880 in Longford. He first enlisted in the army in 1899 having previously served with the 6th Rifle Battalion and served both in India and the Boer War (1899-1902). Andrew had a brother called James. In November 1914 he married Bridget at Wishaw, Scotland. They had two children, including a son called John who passed away in 1916 aged 4 months.
