Information: | Arthur was born on 15 March 1883 in Longford. He was one of 5 children, including William, Sarah, George and Thomas. He was in the 8th Royal Irish Hussars before emigrating to Canada in 1902 with his brother Thomas. Prior to his enlistment in September 1914, he was working as an electrician. He lived in Edmonton, Alberta until his death in June 1953 and he is buried in Beechmount Cemetery. |
