Information: Patrick was born near Ballymahon c. August 1875. He joined the Leinster Regiment originally in 1905 and again the Special Reserve (6 year service) in 1908 and served in France after re-enlistment in the Leinster Regiment. He was first discharged due to bronchitis and bronchial asthma in February 1916, but re-enlsited in the Royal Field Artillery in 1917.
