| Information: | Laurence was born on 1 April 1900 in Co. Longford. He enlisted in 1918 when he was 18 years and 3 months, however the army remanded him on home service until he reached 18.5 years. For this duration he resided with his sister Kate Farrell at Annaghmore, Co. Leitrim. He re-enlisted in 1919. |
