Information: Michael was born in Longford, enlisted in Ballinasloe. Both he and his brother Thomas enlisted in Ballinasloe, served with the same unit and were killed in action on the same day - 7 December 1915 - at Salonika. Michael was aged just 18 and Thomas aged 21 years.
