Information:

Patrick was born c.1873 and is listed as Patrick Brown of Granard in the 1911 Census, but served interchangably with the surname Boylan. Patrick was living in Abbeylara when he enlisted in Longford in July 1915. Patrick served overseas in France from December 1915 to January 1916, and then on the Home Front until discharge in May 1918 on medical grounds. 

Patrick married Margaret Owen in Boherquill in 1904 and had 5 children (approx.), the oldest of whom was born in Cloonaghmore, Abbeylara in 1882. 

Parents Names: Son of Patrick and Anne Brown of Teemore, Granard, Co. Longford.
Notes: Had previously served in the 3rd Battalion of the Leinster Regiment.
