Gully and Kaiajik Aghala from the afternoon of 27 and to the morning of 28 August, and was one of two Kenagh soldiers to die there, the other being Pte Henry Walsh. Mr. Kennedy was posthumously awarded the British War Medal and the Victory medal for his service. |

Notes: | It would appear that Mr. Kennedy did not have any next-of-kin, as no names are recorded on his entry into the Register of Soldier's Effects. His army records do not survive, and therefore it is very difficult to determine if this is the case. Should the entry into the 1911 Census be accurate, Mr. Kennedy was like born c.1871. |
