Information: James Brady was born c.1879 in Larkfield, Dring, the son of Patrick Brady a farmer and his wife Sarah; he had one brother named John. Pte Brady enlisted in Longford, and was deployed to the Western Front in December 1915. He was killed-in-action in Belgium, likely during shelling of the "C" and "B" companies near Hooge, near a place nicknamed Oxford Street.
