Information: | John was born on 1 December 1890 in Longford town. He later immigrated to Quebec, Canada. He was married to Kathleen Brady.
Prior to the war John was working as a butcher and was a member of the Canadian Ordnance Corps from 1908. John attested for War service in 1917 and was discharged from war service in August 1919. However, it appears that John remainsed with the Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps, as shown by the 1931 Census of Canada (line 40) |
