Information: | Patrick was born c.1895 in Edgeworthstown, and was one of 7 children. He enlisted in the Leinster Regiment in October 1914 in Longford. He was transferred to the Royal Irish Fusiliers for 7 months in 1914 - 15 before transferral to the Labour Corps by 1918. Hee served in the Mediterranean Expeditionary Force from 1915. Patrick was discharged after 1918 due to ill-health. |
