Information: | Patrick was born c.1876 in Streete, Co. Westmeath. In c.1907 he married his wife Hannah (Johanna), who was originally from Whitechurch, Co. Wexford; their son Christopher was born in Stephen Street, Waterford City in c.1908. By 1911 they were living in Llanelli, Wales where Patrick worked as a stationary steam engine operator in a colliery. Spr McLoughlin enlisted in Llanelly, Carmarthenshire. He served with the 36 Motor Airline Company of the Royal Engineers, whose reponsibilities were to erect and maintain telephone wires which were run along telegraph poles. |
