He was later discharged on medical grounds, and passed away in Dover Military Hospital in June 1915.
Parents Names: Son of Charles North and Anna North (née Russell).
Notes: In the 1891 Census of England, Arthur lists his birthplace as the parish of St. Mary's, Sheerness, Kent, however his birth was registered in Ireland; in the 1911 Census, Arthur's birthplace was mistakenly given as Waterford, Ireland. In the 1881 Census where they were residing at 36 Thornton Road, Charles's wife was listed as Julia, not Anna. Arthur's elder brother, Walter, was born in Hounslow, Surrey. Charles North appears to have also been enlisted with the East Kent Regiment, and served in the Crimean War.
