Information: | Alfred was born in 1895 in Longford. He was shot in the face at Loos on 25 September 1915 and taken prisoner. He was held in Coln, Stendal and Bergwitz prison camps. He was released in December 1918. He received the 1914/15 Star, the British War Medal and the Victory Medal. |
