Information: Edward Joseph Kenny was born in Longford on 30 September 1876. He gave hos occupation as 'grocer' when he enlisted and his next-of-kin was his wife, then living at Broad Street, Pendleton, Manchester. He was in the 'special forces' and served in Papua New Guinea. He received the British War and Victory Medals. Edward died in Granville, New South Wales, in 1942.
