Information: | Wesley was born in Longford on 26 September 1881. Prior to emigrating to the US in 1906/07, he worked in Boyle as a Grocer's assistant. Wright married his wife Mathilda Braf, a Swedish emigrée, on the 11 March 1911. Pte Wright crossed the border to enlist with the Commonwealth forces at Toronto in October 1918. After the war, Wesley returned to Roscoe Street, Chicago, where he worked for the street car company, Chicago Street Lines. Wright died in Chicago in 1947, survived by his wife. |
