| Information: | James was born in Longford in 1892, and was raised there for part of his childhood along with his siblings, prior to moving to Skerries pre-1901. Pte Manson enlisted in April 1916 and served twice in France, from September 1916 to March 1918 and from July 1918 to January 1919; he received a wound from a gas shell in March 1918. |
