Information: | Before the Battle of Mount Street Bridge, Doyle’s sister, whose name has not been confirmed, and Anne Devlin, brought supplies to him and his comrades in St Stephen's Parochial Hall. According to Doyle’s comrade Liam Christian, the men ‘were full of admiration for them, as the action required courage and resource in order to get past the British patrols’.
