Information: | Thomas was born on the 30 June 1890 in Cam. He was named after his father, who was known locally as the President of the Mostrim Ancient Order of Hibernians (AOH) and Vice-Chair of the local United Irish League (UIL). |

Notes: | We had initially believed that Cpl Cunningham's regimental number was 5542, but this in fact relates to another Thomas Cunningham who was born in in Ballingarry, Co. Tipperary, in 1875. Many thanks to Pat Curran for that information. |
