Information:	Bernard enlisted on or before April 1915, possibly with the Royal Irish Regiment; his enlistment was noted in the Longford Leader on the 1 May 1915 (link below). It is likely that the Bernard in question was born in Edgeworthstown, in May 1883. No further information is currently available for Bernard, or his service; it is likely that his records were destroyed in WW2.
