Information: | A Miss Stanton of Killashee was recorded as working with the Sphagnum Moss Association for a short period, whilst living at Killashee, Co. Longford. Very little is known about Miss Stanton and it is possible that she was staying with another family in the village temporarily. Sphagnum moss was an important element in field dressing wounds during WW1. |
