Information: | Francis was born c.1774, possibly in or near Newtownforbes. James was a member of the Crown forces, but enlisted with the French forces under General Humbert, in the 1798 Rebellion. After the rebellion, he was tried by court martial on the 22 November 1798. James was sentenced to serve with an overseas regiment. |
