Kathleen was born in Templeton, Killashee likely about 29 Dec 1919 as per her WW2 attestment. She emigrated to Australia with her family on the SS Berrima in January 1927, including her elder brother William and younger siblings, Elizabeth, Hubert and Nicholas.
